Newnan Police Department books man, possibly more, on Murder, Robbery charges in Cliff Cir Shooting
NPD books at least one juvinile into Clayton Co YDC as well.
Booking records show that 20 year old Daniel Bernard Derrius, of Newnan, was booked into the Coweta County Jail late last night on the following charges:
Murder
Robbery Armed with Firearm
Assault Aggravated with Firearm
We’ve confirmed that the arrest is in regards to the Cliff Circle Shooting.
Booking information also shows that Daniel was booked on Feb 18th, 6 days ago, by Grantville PD for Battery and Child Cruelty charges, for which he bailed out the same day.
Information available from last night also leads us to believe that a juvenile may have been arrested and transported to the Clayton County Youth Detention Center.
Based on further information obtained by NCST, it’s believed at least 1 to 2 other individuals may either have been or will soon be booked on Murder charges.
