A 17 year old suspect that was arrested June 28th after leading the CCSO on a high speed pursuit that started after being caught at the end of a spree of car break in’s, has seen 24 additional felony charges added to his booking.
Dunn was not the only suspect arrested at the termination of the pursuit, however the rest of the suspects are minor’s and their identity is currently shielded. One can assume that the same 24 charges have been added to those suspects also.
Anthony Lorenzo Dunn, 17, of Union City was originally arrested on June 28th and booked into the Coweta County Jail on the following charges.
ENTERING AUTOMOBILE OR OTHER MOTOR VEHICLE WITH INTENT TO CY, a Felony
FLEEING/ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE POLICE OFFICER, a Felony
He was denied bond on these charges by Jude Stokely and remained in custody.
On July 15th, Investigators with the CCSO rebooked Dunn and added the following charges to his booking.
22 Counts of ENTERING AUTOMOBILE OR OTHER MOTOR VEHICLE WITH INTENT TO CY, a Felony
THEFT BY TAKING, a Felony
THEFT BY TAKING (AUTO), a Felony.
Dunn was again denied bond on July 15th during his first appearance on the new charges, keeping him in custody at the Coweta County Jail.
Over 30 vehicles were reported broken into that night, meaning further charges could be in store for Dunn and the other suspects.
